Aldi has temporarily renamed one of its Manchester branches “Aldeh” to celebrate the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour, which kicks off this week.
The store on Bury New Road now sports the new sign, alongside a special launch of 90s-inspired bucket hats featuring the Aldimania logo — a playful nod to Britpop style and Mancunian slang. Aldimania Bucket Hats (£4.99) are on sale from 3rd July
Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said:
“Manchester is a vibrant city with a rich musical history, and with the Oasis reunion, we wanted to mark the occasion. By temporarily renaming our Bury New Road store to ‘Aldeh,’ we’re celebrating both the local dialect and the legendary band that has brought so much joy to fans worldwide.”
