Lidl have announced a limited edition Oasis-inspired jacket playfully named the ‘Lidl By Lidl’ coat — a nod to the band’s 2002 single ‘Little By Little’.
Unveiled this morning on a striking 30ft wall near Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, the jacket is directly inspired by Liam Gallagher’s iconic Berghaus coat, which fans once joked resembled Lidl’s brand colours when he fronted the supermarket’s ‘ICONS’ campaign last year.
Retailing at £30, the jacket comes packed with playful details:
– “Drink-cooling” pockets
– A bottle opener as a zipper
– A ‘Lidl By Lidl’ badge
– And even an accompanying tambourine
It will be available to buy from 10am BST Wednesday (July 9)
