We are pleased to support the upcoming release of This Is History, a new book by renowned Oasis collector and curator Kyle Dale, written with Danny Hall and published by Vertical Editions.
Set for release on 30 October 2026, This Is History is a deep dive into the rise of Oasis, built around one of the world’s most comprehensive music memorabilia archives. But this is not simply another biography.
From The Rain to Live ’25
This Is History traces the evolution of Oasis from the band’s earliest days as The Rain through to Oasis Live ’25, telling the story through the physical objects, images and memories that surrounded the music.
The book brings together rare collectables, previously unseen artefacts and exclusive interviews, alongside original tapes, set lists, tickets, clothing, photographs, artwork and other pieces of Oasis history.
Among the items featured are instruments owned by members of the band, Noel Gallagher’s handwritten lyrics and Liam Gallagher’s sheepskin coat worn at the 1995 Brit Awards.
Designed as a visual archive as much as a book to read, This Is History looks beyond the familiar narrative and explores the details, stories and objects that helped document one of Britain’s most important bands.
First-hand voices and exclusive interviews
The book also brings together contributions and stories from people who were there.
Featured voices include Tony McCarroll, Owen Morris, Brian Cannon, Tim Abbott, Paolo Hewitt, Nick Brown, Nick Brine, Dominic Mohan and Liam Dennehy.
Kyle Dale is one of the world’s best-known Oasis collectors and the curator of Together We’ll Fly, a major Oasis exhibition featuring more than 1,000 rare and iconic items. He is also the founder of Bittersweet Home and has spent years creating exhibitions, events and fan experiences around music and memorabilia.
Co-author Danny Hall is a writer, journalist and memorabilia collector. This Is History is his eighth book and his first outside the world of football.
