The wait for Oasis Live ’27 appears to be entering its final stage.
During the night, a spectacular drone display appeared over Manchester, close to the Etihad Stadium, forming the iconic Oasis logo and revealing a date and time — seemingly signalling the moment when the band’s long-awaited 2027 tour will finally be announced.
The drone display follows a series of cryptic teasers released by Oasis on their official social channels since September 3. Each short film has been packed with clues pointing towards different cities, including Glasgow, Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam and Rome.
Manchester was one of the clearest clues so far.
The teaser showed two boys playing football outside a red-brick house, with one of them keeping a tally of goals. The sequence also featured a light-blue crescent moon — widely interpreted as a reference to Manchester City and their anthem “Blue Moon”. The final goal taking the tally beyond 11 was quickly interpreted by fans as a clue towards 12 Oasis shows at the Etihad Stadium.
Rumours of a major Manchester residency have been circulating for months. Reports have suggested that Oasis could play 12 homecoming shows at the Etihad Stadium during June 2027, with a provisional schedule currently circulating online listing dates from June 4 through June 27.
The wider provisional touring plan reportedly includes shows at Celtic Park in Glasgow, Paris, Munich, Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Boston (Usa), although these dates have not yet been officially confirmed by Oasis.
The latest drone display now appears to take the campaign one step further: rather than simply teasing individual cities, Oasis seem to be preparing fans for the official announcement of Oasis Live ’27.
