The Gallagher brothers arrived together in Venice on Friday, 4 September, ahead of tonight’s world premiere of the new Oasis documentary at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Venice is ready for Oasis.
Liam and Noel Gallagher arrived together at the Lido on Friday, 4 September, just one day before the world premiere of Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, the highly anticipated new documentary about the band’s reunion and their triumphant Oasis Live ’25 tour.
The brothers were photographed arriving in Venice and making their way to the Lido, where they will attend tonight’s premiere. Their arrival together has already attracted considerable attention from fans and photographers gathered for the Venice Film Festival.
The world premiere is tonight
Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger will have its world premiere tonight, Saturday 5 September at 9:30pm, in the Sala Grande at the Lido, as part of the Venice Open – Out of Competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the film follows the extraordinary story of the Oasis reunion and the Live ’25 tour, documenting the band as Liam and Noel returned to the stage together after 16 years apart.
The documentary includes previously unseen footage from rehearsals and concerts, as well as what promises to be some of its most significant material: the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel in more than 25 years.
The film follows the brothers and the band across three continents and twelve concerts, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations, the reunion and the experience of taking Oasis back to the world’s biggest stages.
A special moment for Oasis fans
Seeing Liam and Noel arrive together in Venice is another memorable moment in the remarkable story of the Oasis reunion.
After years of speculation, the brothers finally reunited in 2024, returning to the stage in 2025 for the hugely successful Oasis Live ’25 tour. Now, just over a year after the tour began, their story is being brought to the big screen.
And there is something particularly fitting about the documentary receiving its world premiere in Venice, one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals.
For Oasis fans, tonight will be another opportunity to relive the extraordinary journey that began with the announcement of the reunion and culminated in sold-out stadium shows across the UK, Ireland and around the world.
With Liam and Noel already together in Venice, all eyes are now on the Lido.
Tonight, Don’t Look Back in Anger finally gets its moment on the big screen.
