Oasis have dropped another cryptic teaser, and this time the clues appear to point unmistakably towards Barcelona.
The short video takes us into an intimate, dimly lit Spanish bar, where a musician is seen playing a classical Spanish guitar while performing what sounds like a traditional folk melody. The setting itself immediately evokes the atmosphere of an old Barcelona tapas bar, with its rustic interior, stone walls and warm, atmospheric lighting.
But the biggest clue may be hanging on the wall.
Clearly visible in the background is a poster featuring Joan Miró, one of the most celebrated artists associated with Catalonia. Born in Barcelona in 1893, Miró’s connection with the city makes his presence in the teaser a particularly strong geographical hint.
Taken together, the clues are hard to miss: Spanish guitar, traditional music, a classic tapas-bar setting and Joan Miró — all pointing towards Barcelona.
Following the clues revealed in the previous teasers, Oasis appear to be building a trail of locations through a series of carefully constructed scenes. Whether Barcelona is simply the setting for another announcement or part of a larger reveal remains to be seen.
For now, though, the latest clue seems pretty clear: Barcelona.
