Oasis have released another teaser today, September 9, and this time the clues appear to point unmistakably towards Rome, Italy.
The short clip takes place in a narrow cobbled street surrounded by classic Italian architecture. A red Vespa carrying two young women approaches and passes the camera, while their voices can clearly be heard speaking in Italian.
As the scooter moves through the street, the unmistakable sound of “Go Let It Out” can be heard in the background, apparently accompanying the Vespa as it passes.
The combination of the location, the architecture, the Vespa and the Italian voices makes this one of the clearest geographical clues Oasis have released so far.
But the choice of Go Let It Out could be even more interesting.
There is no known direct connection between the song and Rome in terms of its writing or original video. However, the track has a genuine place in Oasis’ history in the Italian capital.
Go Let It Out was performed at all Oasis shows in Italy in 2002. The song was also part of the band’s set at their appearance at Rome’s Concerto del Primo Maggio that same year.
“Go Let It Out” was a major success in Italy, reaching No. 1 on the Italian singles chart in February 2000, and Oasis performed the song at the Sanremo Festival that same month.
With rumours currently pointing towards two Oasis shows at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico in July 2027, the latest teaser certainly adds another intriguing piece to the puzzle. The reported dates have not been officially announced by Oasis, but Rome has already been strongly linked to the band’s expected 2027 European plans.
